The Trinity United Church is perhaps one of Jim Strutt’s more recognizable churches. A concrete and brick box creates a base upon which a unique copper roof sits. The form of the building was inspired by Noah’s Ark, with the southern, triangular portion representing the bow. The church certainly creates a presence along Maitland Avenue, an area which is otherwise populated with detached single-family homes.
