The Canadiana apartments are located in Sandy Hill, around the corner from the Ottawa Art Gallery. Dark brown brick and light concrete visually separate the eight storey building into horizontal layers.

The original white balcony railings were painted black on the front and rear of the building. The board sign posted in front of the building was painted over sometime before 2018, likely coinciding with new ownership.
