The Sir William Logan Building is the only tower within the Booth Street Complex, sitting on the southeast corner of the larger site. The National Resources Canada Administration Building surrounds the base of the tower, and wraps around the south end, acting as a visual podium from Carling Avenue.

The building rises 82 meters and 21 storeys, and remained the tallest building in the area for several decades before the recent increase in residential development. Tower 1 of the Envie suites was the first tower to exceed the height of the Sir William Logan Building in Little Italy.

Like the other buildings in the Booth Street complex, the Sir William Logan Building houses offices for the Government of Canada. The building is clad in granite piers that follow the building from the ground up, as well as a curtain wall system with metal spandrel panels. The materiality of the Sir William Logan Building differs from the other buildings within the Booth Street complex, which are all clad in a light brick with concrete detailing. The dark colours that clad the tower make it feel heavier than the other buildings, despite the building’s obvious verticality.
