The Podium Building is the four-storey piece of the Place de Ville complex, located next to Tower C, and connected to the Marriott Hotel. The Podium Building contains an entrance to the Lyon Station of Ottawa’s Confederation Line, as well as the entrance to the underground parking for the complex, which is the largest in the city with 974 parking spaces.

Built in 1971, the Podium Building originally housed a theatre, which was left abandoned in the late 1990s, and removed with the construction of the Lyon entrance to the Confederation Line. The building is the only office component of the complex clad in precast concrete panels, and shares its design more with the Marriott Hotel than the Towers.

More information on the Podium Building can be found at the Related Resources.
