The Montreal Trust building was one of the last buildings built before Sparks Street was converted into a year-round pedestrian street. At the corner of Sparks and Metcalfe, the office stands 40.2m tall and fits comfortably within its surrounding context.
The brown and tan concrete facade contrasts with the sleek grey and black featured on the neighbouring Canada Permanent Trust building south on Metcalfe. Eight floors of office space sit atop a generous recessed double-height commercial ground floor.
