Year(s)
1950

Built in 1950 and initially named the Kingsway United Church, the building is situated in Carlington, right next to the Queensway.

Thick lines of concrete surround the windows on the north and west façades of the main hall, and equally sized concrete lintels separate windows in the tower. The subtle change in the colour of the bricks paired with concrete details and white window frames and mullions provides a wholistic yet simple material palette to the building.

The main entrance of the church falls between the tower and the main hall, and is covered by a solid and low concrete canopy.
