The building is located in the west end of the city, directly next to the 417 Highway.

The school is two levels, and shaped like a mirrored “G” in plan. A covered walkway marks the entry sequence to the school, to the right of which is a generously landscaped courtyard. The school features an intricate brickwork pattern on the primary facade, and is clad in brick and concrete, much like other schools of the time. The neighbouring school was built at a similar time, however received many more upgrades and additions throughout its lifetime.

Much to the disappointment of the community, the school closed in 2019 due to a decision made by the schoolboard.
