Love it or hate it, the National Arts Centre in downtown Ottawa is an important building in the National Capital Region.  Given it status and importance artistically the building or more aptly built landscape deserves a more robust treatment than is typically found within the Modern Works gallery.  With this in mind and as a way of marking the construction of a new addition that seeks to subsume the existing building, presenting a new face to the surrounding context, Capital Modern has added a new Feature:  National Arts Centre In-Depth.

The goal within the next few months is to add new galleries, each focusing on important aspects of the interior and exterior spaces, influences and the wide-ranging artistic program deployed over the site.
