The Hartman Building is a small office building at the corner of Gloucester and Bank in Centretown.

The building is clad with a curtainwall made up of tall glazing units, green spandrel panels, and brushed silver mullions. Where the building is not curtainwall, it is clad in brick, which is visibly different after the second storey.

On the Gloucester St. façade at the ground level, the building is clad in dark green marble, which is framed by a white tile mosaic that covers the columns and runs horizontally around the building’s exterior. The Bank St. façade has undergone changes throughout the years, and the only evidence of the original green marble and white mosaic is at the entrance of what is currently a Tim Hortons, where the marble is visible at the base of the windows and one column remains in front of the entrance.

The building is missing both of the letter “I” from its nameplate.
