Located around the corner from the Nature Museum on Metcalfe Street, the Elphin is a 14 storey apartment building built in the mid 1960s. The building features 161 apartments and suites.

The original base of the ground floor was clad with turquoise brick, and small blue tile flanked the entrance to the lobby. The ground floor exterior was renovated in the early 2010s and the brick and tile were replaced by a beige stone cladding.

White balcony railings contrast against the building’s brown brick exterior. On the top four floors, the building is finished with a green metal cladding.
