Address
200 Wilbrod Street, Ottawa, ON

The building at 200 Wilbrod St. is located in Sandy Hill, one street over from Laurier Ave. E. The building belongs to St-Joseph’s Parish and is used as classrooms by the University of Ottawa.

For a two-level brick building, 200 Wilbrod has no shortage of detail and craftsmanship. Concrete bands border glass block windows on every façade, two small metal decal crosses mark each corner of the Wilbrod St. façade. There is a small canopy over the vestibule, which mirrors the slight overhang of the roof of the building. The stairs that lead to the vestibule, both at the main entry and the rear, are visually distinct from the reset of the building, due to their concrete construction instead of brick.
