The Stanton Residence is one of University of Ottawa’s brick residence towers, and sits together with the Marchand Residence overlooking the Rideau Canal.
The building was constructed 5 years after the neighbouring Marchand Residence, and features a similar materiality and overall form. Both residences are clad in brown brick and concrete, and the Stanton Residence features very typical punched windows.
The tower sits on top of a concrete plinth, and is connected at the ground level to the Residents’ Association of the University of Ottawa.
More information on the Stanton Residence is available at the Related Resources.
