St. Timothy’s Presbyterian Church is an A-framed church in the heart of the Alta Vista neighbourhood. Just down the street is another church, the St. Thomas the Apostle Anglican Church.

The church features a covered walkway that brings visitors from the parking lot to the entrance, arriving under the A-frame overhang. The walkway runs parallel to Alta Vista Drive, and separates a courtyard from the street. The courtyard is formed on two sides by the church, the covered walkway, and a standalone brick wall next to the parking lot.

The main building of the church features dark greyish-blue details, including the mullions of the large glazed facade. At grade, a vertical fence-like detail covers the windows. The church uses a white steel frame to form the main structure, which features a steep slope. The exposed interior structure is visible through the fully glazed facade from the street.
