Another modern addition to the University of Ottawa campus, the Leblanc Residence was built in 1965, accommodating 161 students.

The dark brick building is a long bar running parallel to Copernicus St. at the edge of the University’s campus. The Leblanc Residence features a typical strong-gridded facade with repeated square windows, and gains visual interest at both ends as well as in the middle of the building, where the windows sit above black spandrel panels and are given the appearance of Juliet balconies.

The building features an unassuming and dark entrance from the street, clad in all brick with no glazing. An overhead walkway connects the Leblanc Residence to Fauteux Hall.
