The Paroisse St-Rémi is located near Bayshore Shopping Centre, south of Britannia, and is visible from the Queensway.
The body of the church is a very dark brown brick that meets a concrete base and white framed windows and doors. The fascia around the roof is white as well, and a lighter shade of brown is used on the shingled roof. The east portion of the building is not a simple rectangle, but rather starts as two rectangles at the east façade that converge in the centre of the hall of the church. The west portion of the building features a dramatic and complex roof that comes down beyond the height of the doorway on either side. Originally, both the north and south entrances into the east half of the building had identical long and narrow canopies, making the building symmetrical along its east-west axis. Although the south canopy remains, the north canopy was changed sometime in the early 2000s to a larger, more open option.
