This week’s image is a detail of the mosaic on the Tory Building’s main lecture hall, affectionately known as “The “Egg” given its shape in plan.  The mosaic was crated by Gerald Trottier. Accoridng to the Carleton University web site highlighting the Tory Building, “the Ottawa artist wanted the mural to depict humanity’s quest for knowledge.”
